Unfortunately / brain doctor Paul's girlfriend Jackie (played by Michelle Reis) suffered a brain injury in an accident and became a vegetative state. Paul stayed by his unconscious girlfriend's side day after day / hoping that she would suddenly wake up. Finally one day / Jackie woke up / but it was Lawrence who woke her up.
