In the mid-1980s, the ancient capital of Beijing was prosperous amid the tide of reform and opening up. Liang Ruolan, Min Xiangzhu, Feng Ruzhu, Feng Ruqian, Qian Sanli, Hou Letian, Lou Yingjia, Gu Zhifeng, Pan Yue and others among the first batch of red scarves in New China are now in their forties. Among them are primary school teachers, engineers, scientists, actors, legal workers, as well as clerks in cultural centers and coaches on green fields. They have different knowledge, occupations, and personalities. However, they have worked silently in their respective positions for decades. They have different life experiences, including good times and bad times, the joy of success and the anguish of failure. However, they never complain about others. With the persistent spirit of "nine times of death, no regrets", they tighten the rope on their shoulders and use their own backbones as bricks to build the edifice of the Republic. Now, the first batch of red scarves who grew up with the Republic are creating a better future for the cross-century generation of children in the motherland. They are willing to use their sincerity to let the children step on their shoulders and climb to a higher peak!
