The whole film is composed of three stories: "Catching the Traitor" The proprietress of the porcelain shop (played by Xia Wen) hooks up with Wang Dachui of the blacksmith shop across the street and becomes an adulterer. As the saying goes, if you often walk by the river, your shoes will not get wet. The affair between the two was finally discovered by the owner of the porcelain shop. The boss and his wife's brother came to catch the adulterer, but they were plotted against by his wife and Wang Dachui. Not only did he become a cuckold, but he also got slapped with a lawsuit; in "Abnormal Marriage", a girl in her twenties marries a young man who is only ten years old. How can a girl who is full of lust commit herself to a child? On their wedding night, she and her cousin staged a cheating show; the pawnshop owner (played by Li Kun) in "The Affair" was "decisive and quick in doing things", which angered her wife who was in her wolf-like age. Whenever her husband fell asleep, the proprietress would pull the red string on her toes, attracting her lover to openly have an affair. "The Story of a Traitor" and "The Story of an Affair" are adapted from two stories on the seventh day in "The Decameron" by Italian writer Boccaccio.
