Journey to the West 1966 Mandarin

The story takes place in the early years of the Tang Dynasty. In order to save the dead souls in the East, a generation of eminent monk Tang Seng (played by Fan He) received the support of the Tang Dynasty king. Under the escort of a large army of soldiers and horses, he went to the Buddhist land in the West to obtain the Tripitaka Sutra. Needless to say, the journey was rough and arduous, and there were also monsters and spirits in the caves and mountains who were ready to eat Tang Seng. The sky was clear just a moment ago, but in the blink of an eye there was flying sand and rocks. It turned out that the monster King Black Wind cast a spell, causing Tang Monk and his followers to be separated, and the monsters fought even more to fight for Tang Monk. Wukong received the guidance of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and promised to protect Monk Tang from studying in the West.
