White Night Walk 2011 (plot commentary)

A secret room murder case in Showa 55 was finally closed hastily because the boss was eager for promotion. Only police detective Junzo Sasagaki (played by Eiichiro Funakoshi) could not let go of the case. Many years later, the suspect's daughter Nishimoto Yukiho has changed her name to Karasawa Yukiho (Maki Horikita) and leads a life that has nothing to do with before. However, as if she was protected by the god of luck, accidents would happen to anyone who caused trouble for her. Later, Yukiho's good friend Jiang Riko (played by Midido Rie) fell in love with the young master Shinozuka Kazunari (played by Jiang Changxiong) from a wealthy family, but in the end Kazunari chose to marry Yukiho. At this time, although Sasagaki has retired, he has never given up on pursuing the truth of the murder case.
