The TV series "Visitors on the Iceberg" is adapted from the 1963 classic movie "Visitors on the Iceberg". This film has inspired the struggle and growth of several generations. After 40 years, the two groups of "Visitors on the Iceberg" will reunite on the screen. Although the TV series "Visitors from the Iceberg" is adapted from the movie of the same name, director Dai Bing's approach is different from previous adaptations of red classics. Dai Bing re-wrote a story based on the material recorded by the film screenwriter Bai Xin. The TV series has new content from beginning to end, and only the middle part incorporates the old story. The reason why the TV series is still called "Visitors from the Iceberg" is Dai Bing said: "A large part of the new story comes from a large amount of material recorded by the film screenwriter Bai Xin, and the theme of the performance remains unchanged."
