My Beautiful Friend

The story takes place in Shanghai in 2008. Liu Wenjing (played by Zhang Tianai), a 19-year-old mountain village girl, came here alone, hoping to carve out her own world in this prosperous big city. With the help of top student Xing Tianming (played by Xu Kaicheng), Liu Wenjing was successfully admitted to her ideal university and accumulated her first pot of gold by buying red wine. Although Liu Wenjing misses her parents very much in her hometown and has even been in crisis several times because of them, fortunately, Liu Wenjing has a group of enthusiastic and kind-hearted friends around her. With their help, every crisis of Liu Wenjing can be averted in the end. By chance, Liu Wenjing met a rich second generation named Ye Hui (played by Niu Zifan). Ye Hui's existence opened the door to a new world for Liu Wenjing, making her realize that the life in the upper class was so comfortable and luxurious.
