The play will use flashbacks to tell the story of the ups and downs of nearly half a century of emotion and life in the mid-to-late 1970s when four women with very different personalities became involved in the revolution. Michelle Ye will change her usual lady image and play the leading role of an authentic village girl who grew up in the countryside, Huang Xiaolei will disguise herself as a man and play the role of "Feng Shui Master", while Tian Hairong and Mok Xiaoqi will play the roles of a well-educated new woman and a wealthy landowner's daughter respectively.
