Fireworks in March

The story takes place during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, Nalan Rongruo (Chen Haomin) (played by Hao Lei) was born into a family of officials, but fell in love with Kong Sizhen (played by Hao Lei), the late emperor's favored concubine. This relationship was destined to never bear fruit. Through the introduction of Ao Bai, Rong Ruo married a woman named Lu Yucian (played by Zhang Na). Although Lu Yucian was infatuated with Nalan Rongruo, the only thing Rong Ruo cared about was Kong Sizhen. In the end, Kong Sizhen was married to the northwest by Kangxi (played by Lu Xing), and was persecuted and forced to take poison.
