Tian Long Ba Bu 2003

Adapted from Jin Yong's novel of the same name. During the Northern Song Dynasty, Song, Liao and Xixia were in conflict. Qiao Feng (played by Hu Jun), the leader of the Beggar Gang, was murdered by Kang Min, the wife of Ma Dayuan, the deputy leader of the Beggar Gang. He was despised by the martial arts. In order to find out the truth and vindicate himself, Qiao Feng started an investigation, but it caused even greater entanglements. During the investigation, he met Duan Yu (played by Lin Zhiying), the suave eldest son of the Duan family in Dali, and Xu Zhu (played by Gao Hu), a young Shaolin monk who seemed dull but kind-hearted. The three of them became brothers. Qiao Feng met two sisters, A'Zhu (played by Liu Tao) and A'Zi (played by Chen Hao); Duan Yu was infatuated with Wang Yuyan (played by Liu Yifei) and met many confidants; Xu Zhu met the mysterious Meng Gu (played by Wang Haizhen). Facing the troubled times, the three of them began an extraordinary life in the arena, and met various masters such as Tianshan Tonglao (played by Shu Chang), Murong Fu (played by Xiu Qing), and the Four Evil Men. Life and death, love and hate, separation, and national justice were all manifested by fate.
