Heroes of Fire (plot commentary)

Ding Zilong, Mei Yuan, Jiang Erbao, Cheng Peng, Zhang Zhigang, and Liao Jun joined the army and became firefighters for different reasons. They grew up in the tests of blood and fire again and again. They participate in rescue work to deal with hazardous chemical leaks, road traffic accidents, building collapses, major safety production accidents, mass distress incidents and public health emergencies. They are there wherever there is danger. Unfortunately, a firecracker factory exploded, and Zhang Zhigang died heroically during the emergency rescue. Facing his friends who joined the army together, Liao Jun could not bear the shock of life and death and retired early. Ding Zilong, Mei Yuan, Jiang Erbao, and Cheng Peng wiped away their tears in the singing of "Send Off Comrades" and completed their transformation from rookies to fire fighters, becoming the most lovable fire fighters in the new era.
