Takayuki Narumi (voiced by Kisho Taniyama), Shinji Taira (voiced by Aokijo) and Suzuki Hayase (voiced by Tomoko Ishibashi) are friends in their student days. They are about to graduate, and the three of them are about to run towards different futures. One day, Narumi Takayuki met a girl named Suzumiya Haruka (voiced by Ribayashi Minami). Under the help of Hayase Suigetsu, Narumi Takayuki and Suzumiya Haruka came together. In fact, Suigetsu has always secretly liked Takayuki. On her birthday, she found Takayuki who was about to date Suzumiya Haruka, hoping that he would give her a ring as a gift. However, when Takayuki bid farewell to Suigetsu and came to the date, what awaited him was the sad news that Suzumiya Haruka fell into a coma due to a car accident.
