In the "Amber Land", a continent that never sees light, there is a sacred profession - the letter bee. In this dangerous place where the artificial sun cannot shine and darkness spreads, letter bees risk their lives to deliver important "letters" to the people. Gao Xiu (voiced by Jun Fukuyama) is an excellent letter bee, and the "letter" he wants to deliver that day is a young man named Rag (voiced by Miyuki Zecheng). Rag's mother was forcibly taken away by a group of strangers one day. Rag's mother sent him as a letter to her aunt's house in an offshore town. During the transportation, La Ge was attracted by Gao Xiu's strong and gentle heart. Because of his respect for Gao Xiu, Raghu is determined to become an excellent letter bee. When he was 12 years old, he passed the exam and became a letter bee, but unexpectedly discovered that Gao Xiu was no longer a letter bee, and had lost his "heart" and his whereabouts were unknown. Rag embarks on the road of the letter bee, delivering letters of people's "hearts" and "hopes". He wants to find Gao Xiu... adapted from Hiroyuki Asada's fantasy-style juvenile comic "The Letter Bee".
