The Ugly Duckling

By the clear river, the father duck was walking around anxiously. It turned out that his wife was hatching ducklings. After a painfully long wait, the fluffy little ducks emerged from their shells one after another. Seeing the healthy and cute child, the duck father was overjoyed and kissed his wife wildly. At this moment, the last egg was about to move, and what came out was a silly little white duck. This made Father Duck very angry. He suspected that his wife was unfaithful, so the couple had a quarrel, and finally Father Duck left heartlessly. Not to be outdone, Mother Duck is determined to raise the children alone. She took her babies swimming and playing, but she didn't like the little white duck that made her lose her lover. The little white duck was ridiculed by other small animals, and he was very sad because he thought he was ugly... This film won the Best Animated Short Film Award at the 1940 Oscar Film Festival.
