Tokyo Love Story 1991

Kanji Nagao (played by Yuji Oda), who came from the countryside of Ehime to work in an advertising agency in the big city of Tokyo, walked out of the airport nervously. What greeted her was the smile and nickname of "Maruko" from a female colleague of the company, Rika Akana (played by Suzuki Honami), a returnee from overseas. (In Japanese, "Wanzhi" and "Wanzi" are homophonic.) The honest Wanzhi works hard and soon gets Lixiang's confession. But there is another woman in his heart. At the class reunion, Wanji met his old classmates Satomi Sekiguchi (played by Yami Arimori) and Kenichi Mikami (played by Eguchi Yosuke). Wanzhi discovers that Satomi, whom he has a crush on, is dating his good friend Mikami. He is depressed and does not know that Mikami is only dating Satomi out of a playful attitude. In fact, Mikami likes Nagasaki Naoko (played by Sendo Akiho), a female medical student. The emotional entanglement of five people, the souls longing for love in Tokyo city. Will Wanzhi choose the passionate Lixiang or the traditional female Satomi?
