His Motorcycle, Her Island

Hashimoto Takumi (played by Riki Takeuchi), a music university student and part-time manuscript courier, is a trend-chasing young man who loves motorcycles. By chance, he met Fuyumi (Noriko Watanabe), the sister of his senior Sawada Hidemasa (played by Miura Tomokazu), and the two spent a romantic night together. For Hashimoto, this is just a necessary casual marriage for a motorcycle man; but for the pure Fuyumi, this is the beginning of a beautiful love. Under Hidemasa's accusation, the troubled Hashimoto drove to Shinshu alone, intending to think carefully about his relationship with Fuyumi. But here he meets Miyoko Shiraishi (played by Tikako Harada), a cheerful and outgoing girl who loves motorcycles. After returning to Tokyo, Hashimoto ended his relationship with Fuyumi. At the same time, his contact with Miyoko gradually increased. It seems that this heralds the beginning of another love affair... The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Kataoka Yoshio.
