This is one of Chow Yun-fat's early famous hero films. The story tells the story of Gao Fei (Chow Yun-fat), a sharpshooter who works as a security guard. He is a chivalrous and upright person. His friend Shen Si (Anthony Wong) owes a loan shark and is kidnapped by the loan shark. Fortunately, Gao Fei goes deep into the tiger's den to rescue Shen Si. In order to repay the debt, Shen Si begged Gao Fei to cooperate with him to help the thieves rob a batch of smuggled arms, but Gao Fei reluctantly agreed. The whole plan went very smoothly, but just after success, Gao Fei was betrayed by a thief, and the car rushed into a house, killing all the family except a young girl. In order to make up for his mistake, Gao Fei decided to snatch back the stolen money from the thief to compensate his young daughter.
