On June 5, 1967, Israel unexpectedly launched the third Middle East War against neighboring Arab countries and won victory within six days. After Egypt declared the war failed, several Egyptian soldiers who were short of water and food wanted to cross the Sinai Desert, which had been occupied by Israel, to Suez and return to the peaceful area. This film is the debut of Israeli director Rafi Bukai, who has few works. He presents this "humanitarian, anti-war, apolitical" work from the perspective of several Egyptian soldiers. The film won an award at the Logaro Film Festival in Switzerland in 1986 and represented Israel in the Oscar competition for Best Foreign Language Film in the same year.
