Le Havre

Marcel (André Wilms) ) was once a slightly famous writer. However, the freedom-loving man was tired of the boring life of a writer, so he came to Le Havre and transformed into a happy shoe shiner. The lovely and enthusiastic residents of Le Havre helped Marcel find his spiritual home, where Marcel lived the peaceful and stable life he dreamed of. The appearance of an African boy broke Marcel's regular life. Out of sympathy and instinct, Marcel took in the poor boy who was chased everywhere by the police. The house leaked and it rained all night. At this juncture, Marcel's wife Arleti (played by Kati Outinen) suffered from a serious illness and needed to stay in bed to recuperate. On one side was the ferocious policeman, and on the other was his critically ill wife. Marcel was suddenly pushed to a crossroads of destiny.
