Kharak is an epic romantic drama in which six mysterious, esoteric and longing characters are entangled in the search for love, but are separated by the division of two worlds in the northern Indian city of Hussainabad. The elite, opulent and stately world of the Choudhury family, and the wild, mysterious and musical heritage of the small town, Hira Mandi, collide when Roop Choudhury meets Zafar, a daring man from Hira Mandi who unleashes buried truths, betrayal secrets and events that threaten to bring both worlds crashing down.
