Princess Caraboo

The story takes place in England in 1817. A woman in strange clothes appears in a small town. No one knows where she comes from, and no one knows who she is. The kind-hearted Mrs. Worrell took in the homeless woman and began to guess the woman's true identity through her various actions. In the end, people identified this woman as a distressed princess who escaped from a distant ancient eastern country, and called her Princess Carab (Phoebe Cates). Carab has never clearly denied this identity. Princess Caraboo's fame grew, attracting the attention of journalist Gucci, and even the regent fell in love with her beauty and wisdom. Gradually, everyone began to wonder whether the woman in front of them was really a noble princess or just a clever liar.
