Tammy Fey's Eyes

This work is adapted from the 2000 documentary of the same name, telling the ups and downs of Tammy Fey (Jessica Chastain) and Jim Baker (Andrew Garfield) as televangelists. In the 1970s and 1980s, Tammy Fey and Jim Baker rose from poverty to create the world's largest religious radio and television network and a theme park. The themes of love, acceptance and prosperity they conveyed were respected by people. Tammy Fey is legendary for her dramatic eyelashes, her unique singing voice, and her warm embrace of people from all walks of life. But it was short-lived as financial misdeeds, scheming rivals and a sex scandal broke up the couple's marriage, causing their carefully constructed empire to begin to crumble.
