When Night Falls

Manfred (Filippo Timi) is a taciturn mountain guide. He once had a very failed marriage. After being ruthlessly abandoned by his wife, Manfred chose to close his heart tightly and only be with the mountains. One day, a woman named Marina (Claudia Pandolfi) took her child to play in the mountains. Unfortunately, in an accident, the boy was injured. Fortunately, Manfred came to the rescue and sent the boy to the hospital. He also met Marina. As time goes by, the distance between Manfred and Marina becomes closer and closer. However, Manfred and Marina are both deeply hurt people. The closer they are, the scars in their hearts become more and more painful. In the end, the cowardly two people choose to restrain themselves.
