Sneak Attack

In the early days of the Pacific War, the U.S. military committed its troops to the European battlefield and was unable to save the war in the Philippines. As a result, 10,000 U.S. troops and 60,000 Filipino troops were captured on the Bataan Peninsula. The Japanese army has been treating these prisoners of war cruelly, and the military decided to massacre the prisoners in January 1944. This movie tells the story of what happened during four days in January 1944. Ranger Captain Prince belonged to Lieutenant Colonel Mu Nishi's team. They accepted the task of rescuing 500 American soldiers in a prisoner of war camp during General MacArthur's march north. Since the Japanese army treated prisoners of war mercilessly, this operation had to be highly secretive. At the same time, Major Gibson (Joseph Fiennes) in the prisoner of war camp is struggling to survive and obtain information from the outside world. Although local nurse Margaret and others try to provide help to the prisoners of war, the lack of medicine persists. In order to carry out the massacre order, military police officer Nagai took over the prisoner of war camp.
