The King of Gamblers

Mike (Matt Damon) is a second-year law student, but he lost all his savings because of a gamble with the casino owner Teddy (John Malkovich). With the encouragement of his friend Knish (John Turturro), Mike made a vow not to gamble again. However, he still showed his skill at the professor's card game, and his skills shocked everyone. When picking up his old friend Bugs (Edward Norton) from prison, Mike broke his vow and returned to the world. He even delayed his moot court internship to help bugs. Afterwards, his girlfriend Joe discovered evidence that Mike was involved in gambling and broke up with him, which made him very depressed. Mike, encouraged by Chongzhi, participated in gambling games one after another. Afterwards, he discovered that he had been tricked by a bug and owed a huge sum of money. He found Chongzi, who was forced to reveal the truth: it turned out that Chongzi was cornered by a fierce creditor. For the sake of friendship, he accepted the harsh conditions of his creditor, but he fell into a more difficult predicament...
