Flash of Genius

This film is adapted from real events. Bob (Greg Kinnear) is a personable university professor who is deeply loved by his teachers and classmates. In his spare time, Bob liked to make small inventions. One day, he imagined a device that could automatically wipe away rainwater from car windows - a wiper, and invented it. The windshield wiper had just come out, but it was not taken seriously by the manufacturers. However, it didn't take long for Bob to discover that this device began to be used in large numbers by Detroit automakers on their products without his authorization. The angry Bob filed a complaint and took the car manufacturer to court. Unexpectedly, this protracted lawsuit dragged Bob and his family into a bottomless whirlpool. The road to rights protection was long and difficult. During this period, Bob even received death threats against his life.
