Journey of Loneliness

A 16-year-old girl was very tired of school and family life and chose to run away from home. She got to know the idiots on Uwa Island, met a mobile art troupe, and even joined their ranks for a time. But not long after, she hit the road alone again. The girl accidentally fell down on the roadside. Kimura, a middle-aged man who made a living by selling fish, took her to his home and took good care of her until she recovered safely. The girl gradually developed feelings for Kimura. Kimura was arrested by the police for participating in gambling, and the girl kissed her when he was released at night. The undecided girl cried and walked home, but on the way she heard that the neighbor girl Kayo had committed suicide. The girl was not surprised by this. She thought it might have been the same if she had not run away. She returned to Kimura's home, and the two hugged tightly and began to make out, both feeling an inexplicable sense of security. Later, the girl married Kimura and started a fish selling business. In a letter to her mother, the girl wrote: "I am very satisfied with my current life. I think this is my ideal lifestyle." Films depicting girls running away are common, and what they see and hear on the way lacks anything particularly attractive. The girl's active temptation of middle-aged men is not very convincing, which may give the audience a sense of concept first.
