Easy Life

The story takes place in Italy in 1962, in the middle of summer. Robert (Jean-Louis Trintignant) is a young and introverted student who is not good at words and always likes to hide his little thoughts in his heart. Bruno (Vittorio Gassman) is a successful middle-aged man. His face is full of the pride that a successful man would have, and he is very familiar with the "great achievements" he has created. Fate brought these two people who couldn't get along together and they became traveling companions on a trip to Tuscany. At first, Robert admired Bruno very much and felt that he was simply a model of a winner in life. However, as time went by, Bruno gradually revealed his capricious and calculating side. In the end, Robert understood that you should not just look at anyone by their appearance.
