Conversation with Nixon

Nixon (Frank Langella) stepped down after the Watergate incident, but he never admitted his mistakes to the public and owed the American people an apology. Foster (Michael Sheen) is a British playboy who hosts a talk show in Australia. When he saw Nixon leaving the White House in a helicopter on a live broadcast, he came up with the idea of ​​interviewing him and decided to put it into practice. No one has expectations for Foster, and no TV company is willing to pay for his interview. His friend John (Matthew Macfadyen) invites Bob (Oliver Platt), a well-known journalist in the industry, and James, who has studied Nixon deeply, to form a team and begin data mining. Foster paid the initial interview fee with his own money, gained the opportunity to meet with Nixon, and set a date for consecutive interviews. The team worked hard to prepare questions to force a confession out of Nixon during the interview. Nixon's brain trust was also busy preparing a response, and they never paid Foster any attention.
