In an ordinary residential area, there lives an ordinary Okabe family of four. The male protagonist Okabe (played by Yamaguchi Isamu) is a salesman of Musashi Life Insurance, but his performance is mediocre and his income is naturally thin and pitiful. As a result, the house is in dilapidated condition, and the wife (played by Tomoko Namika) and children are starved of food.
