I just hope you love me

The film tells the story of a loyal and dutiful young man, Peter, who is a mason. He is very filial to his parents and even built a house for them himself. However, his parents' attitude toward him did not seem to improve. Later, he met the woman he loved, Erica. They moved to Munich together. However, the pressure of life and the embarrassment of money caused the young man Peter to gradually change and eventually became a prisoner. All this was just to make his wife love him... This film is considered by some critics to be the best film masterpiece of Rainer Werner Fassbender.
