Love in Love

Adapted from the famous play by Tennessee Williams and performed by the original cast of the stage play, and directed by the cautious Richard Brooks, it depicts a has-been movie actress and her boyfriend returning to their hometown in the southern United States, hoping to use her beauty and fame to extort a pension from the local corrupt mayor. This film explores the sinister and cunning nature of the human heart in a very profound and powerful way, which makes people feel chilling after watching it. Geraldine Page, Paul Newman and many other actors all gave excellent performances.
