The Last Tadaochika

The deeds of Genroku Tadaomizo have been passed down through the ages. Among the 47 martyrs, Terasaka Kichiemon (played by Hiroshi Sato) is the only one left in the world. He was entrusted by Oishi Naishui (played by Kataoka Nizaemon) to spread the deeds of the 47 martyrs to the world, and at the same time shoulder the heavy responsibility of taking care of the survivors. Time flies, and 16 years have passed. On the way to prepare for the 17th ritual ceremony of the Tadaochenzo, Terasaka accidentally met his ally of the time - Seo Sunzaemon (played by Yakusho Hiroshi) who fled the night before the crusade against Kira Uenosuke (played by Fukumoto Seizo). Today, Sun Zuo has turned into an antique dealer and lives with the beautiful and gentle girl Keyin (played by Sakuraba Nana). He and Keyin are like father and daughter, and like lovers, and she is the only reason why Sun Zuo lives in the world despite being infamous... This film is adapted from the original novel of the same name by Shoichiro Ikemiya.
