The Thorn of Death

The title "The Thorn of Death" is taken from the biography of Glindo in the Bible, which means sin. The marriage of writers Toshio (played by Ittoku Kishibe) and Miho (played by Keiko Matsuzaka) has entered its tenth year, and a crisis has emerged. Toshio had a lover outside, and his wife hired someone to investigate and verify. She was greatly stimulated and threatened to commit suicide. Out of guilt for his wife, Toshio resolutely left his lover, determined to find the happy time in the past with his wife and children. But contrary to expectations, Miho suffered from schizophrenia due to the excessive pressure she endured. She no longer trusted her husband. She was constantly suspicious and pressed harder and harder, making it difficult for Toshio to hold on to his last personal space. Toshio knew that all of this was his own evil, and he also knew that Miho's abnormal behavior was caused by great pain and sorrow, so he endured it even if it was unbearable. The relationship between husband and wife gradually moves to the edge in mutual torture...
