Lily went to Los Angeles to study from her hometown. She lived in a student dormitory and saw the dead Ivy's diary. Due to her lack of confidence, she dreamed of becoming a beautiful and seductive girl because of the bold assumptions in the diary. She dealt with her classmate Gerding and her professor Donner, causing hostility between the two and destroying the professor's marriage. Later, the professor fell from the building and died. Lily finally realized that there was no need to be unconventional and reconciled with Gerding.
