Between Death

Daoud is a free-spirited young man who is not understood by the world. He wants nothing more than to find his "real" family, convinced that only they can bring him love and hope. After being unfortunately involved in a dispute, Daoud embarks on an unexpected escape journey. Along the way, he met all kinds of people, witnessed "accidents" one after another, and became the spokesman of death. In the collision between the subconscious and the present, this fantastic journey becomes increasingly complicated and confusing. Hilal Bedarov, an emerging Azerbaijani director who studied under Bela Tarr and was shortlisted for the 2019 Golden Coconut Award Documentary Competition for "When Persimmons Grow", has been shortlisted for the main competition of the Venice Film Festival for the first time with his new feature film "Death Between".
