Death 1962

The story begins with a murder in Rome. A prostitute was murdered in a park by the Tiber River. Several people who were present at the scene on the night of the crime were questioned one by one by the police: Canty, a penniless young man, claimed to be looking for a job recently, but the fact was that he and two companions were waiting for opportunities to steal lovers' belongings in the park; Busdley, a habitual criminal, had not dealt with the police for a long time. He had a date during the day on the day of the crime. He fell asleep on a park bench, but saw a suspicious man wearing slippers... The suspicious man came to the case and confessed to the police about his experience that day, and at the same time introduced a pair of bored young people into the case. The truth finally came out. This film is the debut of the famous Italian director Bertolucci and is adapted from Pasolini's novel.
