The Fallen

This is a story about two people who have fallen into the lowest class of Hong Kong. The middle-aged man Han Changrong (played by Anthony Wong) was paralyzed due to an accidental injury and his wife and children separated. He believed that there was nothing worth looking forward to in life, and he did not deserve anything. Due to practical reasons, the young Filipino maid Evelyn (played by Crisel Consunji) became a dependent worker and gave up her dream of becoming a photographer. That summer, the two strangers met and got acquainted, and feelings sprouted in their master-servant relationship. However, what flourished was respect and love between souls. The spring, summer, autumn and winter they experienced together made them learn how to face the four seasons of life.
