Movie Story

The movie is divided into two parts, telling the story of two pairs of men and women meeting each other, a bit like a road movie. The first person to appear is Ah Lang (Liu Yali). She is a cashier at a bar on the Hong Kong-Shenzhen highway. She watches people coming and going all day long. They seem to be familiar with each other but are actually strangers. She only has a secret love for the container truck driver Achun (Lu Huiguang), believing that he is the one who can take her away from this boring world. On the other side, Cat (Li Huimin), who has become a prostitute, hopes to sell her body and mind in exchange for a sum of money so that she can leave this ugly world. However, Danny (Chen Hao), the groom who supervises her, makes her wish disillusioned. The two have been in love for a long time, and Danny has a huge debt. Every penny Cat earns is used to pay off his gambling debts. However, on a dark and stormy night, the two resolutely embarked on a road of no return.
