Suzaki Paradise Red Light District

The Fugetsu District of Suzaki, Tokyo is used as the background stage, and the protagonists are Tsutaeda and Yoshiharu, a pair of lovers who ran away to Tokyo because their parents opposed their marriage. The story depicts their survival story living in a tavern and noodle shop in the Fugetsu District. Director Yuzo Kawashima recalled that during the filming, he was dealing with the old and new gangs of the local gangs, and the police had no help. He fully felt that filmmakers are the embodiment of the modern "Ranger"--playing is like life. Kawashima Yuzo's film career and career also embody the spirit of the "Ranger".
