The Seagull

The story takes place in a Russian manor during the rule of Tsarist Russia. Nina (played by Saoirse Ronan) is a girl living there. She is innocent and simple, and she has a very romantic and beautiful longing for love, and she also has great hopes for the future life. Constantine (played by Billy Howle) hopes to become a writer. At the same time, he deeply loves Nina and pursues her passionately. Constantine's father passed away, and his mother Irina (Annette Bening) took a writer named Boris (Corey Stoll) to the manor for recuperation. During this period, Nina was attracted to the bohemian Boris. However, Boris was actually a dissolute playboy. He did not really fall in love with Nina, but was just toying with her feelings.
