On June 27, 1976, four people hijacked an Air France flight. The flight was scheduled to fly from Tel Aviv to Paris. Among the hijackers were two members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and two Germans who belonged to the German left-wing extremist organization Revolutionary Cells. They held hundreds of hostages, mostly Israelis, for a full week. Their main demand is the release of 40 imprisoned Palestinian terrorists and armed personnel. The film reconstructs what happened after the plane landed in Entebbe, where the four hijackers received support from Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. Based on the latest research, the film gives its own version of the hijacking, especially the release of the non-Jewish hostages. At the same time, the film describes in detail how the Israeli government used its security commandos to end the hostage-taking incident by force.
