Burning Secret

Zhao Deyin's fifth feature film "The Burning Secret" received a NT$12 million subsidy from Taiwan's Ministry of Culture. Muse actor Wu Kexi is also an actor and screenwriter. The film also bid farewell to Myanmar for the first time and wrapped on November 26, 2018. The movie tells the story of a country girl who goes to the city to pursue her dreams. The girl Nina (played by Wu Kexi) went north alone to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She got the role in the movie "Spy Love" as she wished, but she was on the verge of collapse several times due to the insult of the paranoid director, the indifference of her agent, and the unprofessionalism of her assistant. After finally finishing the movie, she received news that her father's factory had closed down and her mother was seriously ill. Nina had to return to her hometown. She met her old friend Kiki (played by Song Yunhua), and a series of strange events happened. All of this seemed to be related to the girl No. 3 (played by Xia Yuqiao) who suddenly disappeared after competing with her for a role... How should Nina overcome and face the countless hardships of fate?
