The Beacon of Fire

In order to boost morale after the Pearl Harbor incident, the then President of the United States ordered the bombing of Tokyo. After the mission was completed, Captain Jack Turner and his team made an emergency landing in Zhejiang Province, China due to running out of fuel. Eiko and her daughter accidentally discovered Jack who was in a coma. Despite the great risk to his life, Eiko still did not give up on the American who needed help. Although they don't understand the language, this relationship is destined to affect their lives. Through the process of Chinese soldiers and civilians saving American pilots with their own lives, the film reproduces the story of the truth, goodness and beauty of human nature during the war years.
