Falling in Love with Figaro

Starring Joanna Lumley and Danielle Macdonald ("Unbelievable") and directed by Ben Levin ("Intimacy Therapy"), it tells the story of a fund manager played by Macdonald who leaves her job and long-term boyfriend that cannot give her satisfaction to pursue her lifelong dream: singing opera. The former opera diva played by Lin Li becomes her feared singing teacher. The film will include music from operas such as "The Barber of Seville", "The Marriage of Figaro", "Don Juan", "Romeo and Juliet" and "La Traviata". The film is an Australian-British co-production and has been completed and is in post-production. It will be sold in the online market of this Cannes Film Festival.
