Alice in the City

German photojournalist Philip lived a wandering life. Once he was sent to the United States to complete an interview, but he did not complete the task. After meeting a mysterious American woman on the way, he accidentally became the guardian of her nine-year-old little girl. Philip must take little Alice across Germany to help her find her grandmother, and they have an unexpected understanding of each other. The story avoids going straight, and the development is full of surprises. The presentation of the theme is extremely elegant, allowing the audience to slowly understand the impact of American popular culture on post-war Europe.
