Rhinoceros

Liu Cheng (Feng Delun), who runs a medicine hall in his family, and a group of villagers plan to develop business in the city. When the business was booming, an inexplicable fire caused all the brothers to lose their lives. Liu Cheng lost everything and went to jail. The real murderer is actually his assistant Peng Si (played by Huang Haoran), who does anything for money. The relative of a police officer in prison had been generously given medication by Liu Cheng, so he invited young lawyer Lan Xiaoqian (played by Gillian Chung) to help Liu Cheng clear his name. It's a pity that Peng Si used money to smoothen the relationship and was determined to put Liu Cheng to death. Lan Xiaoqian bribed the executioner, hoping to let Liu Cheng go during the execution. Liu Cheng returned to his hometown and found that his ancestral home had been destroyed and his wife and daughter were living an inhuman life. Later, Liu Cheng was frightened by what had happened to him.
