Sense and Sensibility

After the old manor owner passed away, the poor mother and daughter were kicked out of the manor by the eldest son. With the help of relatives, they settled in a small farmhouse. What the snobby sister-in-law never thought was that her younger brother Edward (played by Hugh Grant) fell in love with the eldest of the three sisters, Eleanor (played by Emma Thompson). Although the rational Eleanor also fell in love with Edward, she took into account the disparity in status between the two and tried to restrain her feelings. At the same time, sister Marianne (Kate Winslet) falls in love with the handsome officer Willoughby (Grey Wise). The emotionally exposed Mariana passionately expresses her love for Willoughby, without even caring about hurting the feelings of her suitor, Colonel Brandon (Alan Rickman). I never thought that Willoughby was evil and didn't really take Mariana's feelings to heart. The relationship between the two sisters fell into crisis one after another. Who among two sisters with very different personalities can find true love and get their wish? How should the four mother and daughter get out of the predicament in life?
