Circle of Life

This film tells the tragic stories of seven Iranian women. The woman received her infant daughter from the hospital, but she was not happy because the previous ultrasound showed that she was pregnant with a boy, but now she was pregnant with a boy, which caught her off guard. The local custom of favoring boys over girls made her feel like she was in limbo. A girl who had just been released from prison and her companion searched for money everywhere. After going through all kinds of hardships, they collected the money, but in the end they were too timid to board the train back home. A girl who became pregnant out of wedlock was kicked out by her brother. After her boyfriend died, she had to have an abortion. After being released from prison, the middle-aged woman discovered that her man had cheated on her. The girl who became a nurse tried every means to help her, but her marriage was in a deadlock... The film won the Golden Lion Award for Best Film at the 57th Venice Film Festival.
