Truth and Justice

The film depicts the life of the young rich farmer Andre. Andre was educated, smart and strong. His wife, Klute, was gentle and tolerant. Together they bought an abandoned farm and wanted to start a new life here. Their neighbor Perru is rude and uncooperative. Andre wanted to build a canal with Perru, but there were always conflicts. Perroux also killed his hunting dog and even staged the scene so that Andre could not accuse him of his crime. Andre believes that Perru is a complete scoundrel, bent on seeking revenge, while Klute always mediates conflicts between her husband and neighbors. As time goes by, "justice" becomes the most important thing in Andre's heart, but this "justice" only brings him loneliness.
